April 11, 1911 — Mr. Will Ruffner last Sunday shot what was doubtless a mad dog on his farm near the electric dam. None of the symptoms of the rabid dog were absent, and friend Ruffner has likely broken another chain in their work of destruction begun at Hamburg a few weeks ago.
