Age 84, Page County, Va.
Mary Ann Meadows, 84, of Page County, Virginia, passed away May 24, 2026, at her home. Born September 17, 1941, in Shenandoah, she was the daughter of the late Wilbur Sr. and Lena Martin Purdham.
Mrs. Meadows graduated from Shenandoah High School and resided in the area throughout her entire life. She attended First Chrisitan Church.
On February 14, 1972, she married Clifton Franklin Meadows, who preceded her in death on September 4, 2004.
Surviving are two daughters, Jennifer Hammer and husband, Timmy, and Jana Painter; two grandchildren, Danika Hammer and Ethan Hammer and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by four siblings, Wilbur Purdham, Jr., Joseph Purdham, Bobby Purdham, and Dorothy Purdham.
There are no formal services as the family will commemorate her life privately.
Arrangements are being handled by Kyger Funeral Home in Elkton, Va.
Ann was a treasured and long-time member of First Christian Church – Shenandoah where she served as Elder and Chair of the Membership Committee at the time of her passing. We have a video of her on our Facebook page where she talks about her early memories at FCC. She will be missed but know she is reunited with family and friends in Heaven.
